Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind the products we design with a 100% money back guarantee! All orders have a no-questions-asked return or exchange policy within 30 days of the ship date. After 30 days, the order can be returned if unworn or unwashed. You must return your order to humanoidwake.com

You can request a return or exchange by contacting us at anytime. If you are requesting a return for a warranty or product defect please follow our warranty submission guidelines for submission.

As long as you haven’t received your tracking information then we will do our best to accommodate any last minute requests.

Shipping

Orders can be shipped within the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and to APO/FPO addresses.

Orders that include boards and bindings cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.

We also ship internationally, either directly from our site or visit our Contact Us page to see if their is a dealer near your area.

Free shipping is available to orders within the US.
You can also enjoy free shipping on all of your orders by becoming an H+ Member.

Orders are processed Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed after 3PM ET will be processed on the following day. Most orders will be shipped within 24 hours of the time in which the order was placed.

After the order has been shipped you cannot change the address. However, if you Contact Us before the order has shipped we may be able to change it for you.

2 Year Standard, All Good Forever, & Worry Free Warranties

Wakeboards purchased from humanoidwake.com or any Authorized Retailer come with an industry best 2 Year Standard warranty. We will cover defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Wakeboard Boots are covered for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. 2015 wakeboards and wakeboard boots are restricted to 1 year from date of purchase.

PLEASE BE WARNED: ROCK, SLIDER, RAIL OR ANY OTHER IMPACT RELATED DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED BY OUR STANDARD 2 YEAR WARRANTY, ALL GOOD FOREVER, OR WORRY FREE WARRANTIES.

All claims must be accompanied by an original proof of purchase, so keep the receipt. Authorized products can be shipped back through local retailers or directly to humanoidwake.com. Our policy is to inspect the claim within 1 business day. Our only responsibility shall be limited to credit, repair or replacement of the defective product. Humanoid will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of product.

The Standard 2 Year, All Good Forever Liftime Warranty, & Worry Free Warranty policy covers:

  • Lamination failure as determined by Humanoid
  • Any manufacturer’s or material defect as determined by Humanoid

All Warranties are subject to the following limitations:

  • Any problem resulting from misuse, abuse, impact (including concrete, rocks, ramps, boxes, rails) or neglect
  • Cosmetic issues including discolored graphics, top sheet dents, or damage including excess sun exposure
  • Wakeboard damage resulting from improper mounting of boots or the use of incorrect mounting hardware.
  • Wakeboard boot chassis damage resulting from improper mounting of wakeboard boots or use of the incorrect locks, bolts, or mounting hardware
  • Wakeboard boot damage from mounting Humanoid boots to NON-HUMANOID wakeboards
  • Damage due to improper storage and handling of the product
  • Damage caused by any wakeboard modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from natural causes, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and storms (“Acts of God”).
  • Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship.

If you are not active on your H+ subscription, you will be responsible for shipping costs when returning your product. We recommend you use an insured & trackable shipping service. Otherwise, we don’t guarantee that we will receive your shipment. Humanoid assumes no responsibility for products lost or damaged during shipment from the customer to our warranty department. Shipping charges are not refundable. Humanoid assumes responsibility for return shipping and insurance costs back to the customer.

To submit a claim please visit our Warranty Submission page, please make sure to include:

  • Detailed pictures of the problem area
    • For wakeboards, also include a picture of the top and bottom of the board
    • For boots, also include a picture of the entire product
  • Proof of purchase

If we can tell from the photos that it’s a legitimate claim we will respond with a return authorization number and return shipping information.

Wakesurfer Information

  • It is strongly recommended you do not store surfers in board racks. Be forewarned, if you do store surfers board in a boat board rack, driving through big waves, other boat waves, or across choppy water, can cause your board to bounce in the rack which may damage it.

 

  • Please do not use the surfer to slide off of your swim platform into the water. Also, it is highly recommended you do not start wakesurfing off the swim platform or finish wakesurfing onto the swim platform. Hitting the swim platform or any part of your boat will damage the board.

 

  • Lay the wakesurfer traction side down in the bow, on the floor, or on the back sun deck of the boat to protect the traction from excessive sun and heat. This allows the board and EVA foam traction to last longer.  We recommend not riding in shoes on the EVA traction. Shoes will tear the traction.

 

  • Do not walk on the top or bottom of your wakesurfer while on the boat or on the ground. Doing so can fracture the board or break the fins a well as cut your upholstery. Only stand on the board while using it on the water.

 

  • Store your board in a cool dry place away from excessive heat and sun exposure. Do not store your wakesurf board on the boat, a hot shed, or in a hot boat house.

Installation

 

  • Insert Fin – Align the front of the fin base with the spring and compress it firmly forward towards the nose of the board while rotating the fin downward into the fin box.

 

  • Set Fin – Once the fin is fully seated downward into the fin box let go of the fin to allow it to engage backward. SpringLockTM Technology will engage the fin base backward into the locking pins keeping it secure in the board.

 

  • Lock Fin – Grab the base of the fin and pull back firmly toward the tail of the board to fully engage the fin into the locking pins.

 

Removal

 

  • Fin Release – Firmly slide the fin forward towards the nose of the board to disengage the fin from the locking pins.

 

  • Quick Fin Removal – Once disengaged, rotate the tail of the fin upward out of the fin box and remove the fin from the board.

 

Fin Care and Handling

 

  • Do not place your board fins facing down on boat surfaces. This may damage the leading edge of the fin and increase drag. The leading edge of the fins are also very sharp and can easily puncture or tear boat upholstery. Place board fins facing up when not in use.

 

  • Do not hold your board so fins are resting on swim deck or swim platform. This can disengage the fins from their locking pins which may cause them to fall out immediately or during your next ride.

 

  • Check the engagement of your fins prior to every use. Make sure the bases are pulled back towards the tail of the board firmly.

Wakeboard bindings or boots run true to size. Just find the range that fits your shoe size and you’re good to go! We recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes. For international shoe measurements, a conversion chart is available on the binding product pages (see the image below)
